Sub-regional Organizations are affiliated bodies of AFROSAI with sub-regional jurisdiction, which enjoy legal and organizational autonomy. They bring together countries sharing a common public finance audit model or any other common identity.
- AFROSAI-A : The African Organization of Arabic-speaking Supreme Audit Institutions
The member SAIs (7) are as follows : Algeria, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, Egypt, Sudan and Tunisia.
- AFROSAI-E : The African Organization of English-speaking Supreme Audit Institutions
AFROSAI-E is the English-speaking sub-group of AFROSAI, the African branch of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions. AFROSAI-E serves as a facilitator in the region by sharing information with its members and supporting them toward better fulfilment of their mandates.
It is committed to cooperating with its member SAIs and supporting them in order to build their institutional capacity and help them successfully fulfill their audit mandates, thereby making a difference in the lives of citizens.
The member SAIs (26) are as follows : Angola, Botswana, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Eswatini, The Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Seychelles, South Africa, South Sudan, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The Regional Training Council for Supreme Audit Institutions of Francophone Sub-Saharan Africa (CREFIAF), is an international association that was established in 1997 in Yaoundé during a Strategic Planning Workshop organized by the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) for the heads of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of Francophone Africa in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Le CREFIAF 's mission is to contribute to the improvement and harmonization of audit practices, methods and procedures in the public sector through the adoption of modern professional standards, the establishment of integrated training and the exchange of experiences and information.
The member SAIs (23) are as follows: Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Comoros, Madagascar, Mali, Democratic Republic of Congo, Niger, Senegal, Chad, São Tomé and Príncipe, Togo and WAEMU.
