Signing of a MoU on the transfer of SG’s functions

Mr. Khaled Ahmed Shkashk, President of AFROSAI, and Ms. Zineb El Adaoui, Secretary General of AFROSAI, presided on May 2, 2025, the ceremony of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding for the transfer of AFROSAI’s SG to the Court of Accounts of the Kingdom of Morocco and outlining its obligations in terms of necessary resources and facilities for the proper functioning of the SG. 

This agreement is part of the implementation of the decisions of the General Assembly of the African Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (AFROSAI), which was held in Tripoli, Libya, on December 4-6, 2024. During the assembly, the Court of Accounts of the Kingdom of Morocco was elected as the Secretary-General and host institution for the permanent headquarters of the African Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions for Public Finance and Public Accounts, and following the signature of the MoU to host the permanent headquarters of the Organization in Rabat, between the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco, represented by Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, and Ms. Zineb El Adaoui, Secretary-General of AFROSAI, on April 30, 2025.
