Signing of the Headquarters Agreement – AFROSAI’s SG and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco

An agreement aiming to host the permanent headquarters of AFROSAI in the Kingdom of Morocco was signed on April 30, 2025 by Mr. N Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, and Ms. Zineb El Adaoui, Secretary-General of AFROSAI. The agreements sets out the framework of the Organization in the Kingdom and its obligations as well as the privileged awarded to its headquarters. 

The signing of this agreement follows the election of the Court of Accounts of the Kingdom of Morocco as the Secretary-General and host institution for the permanent headquarters of AFROSAI by the 15th General Assembly of the Organization, which was held in Tripoli, Libya on December 4-6, 2024.
