AFROSAI Participation in the 25th INCOSAI Proceedings

AFROSAI took part in the 25th edition of the International Congress of Supreme Audit Institutions (INCOSAI 25), hosted by the SAI of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Sharm El-Sheikh from October 27 to 31, 2025.

During the first day of the Congress, Ms. Zineb El Adaoui, Secretary General of AFROSAI, presented a report on the Organization's 2023–2025 activities. In her address, the Secretary General emphasized that AFROSAI underwent significant reforms during the said period, particularly with respect to its organizational structure and governance system. She further noted that following the election by the Organization’s General Assembly on December 4, 2024, of the Court of Accounts of the Kingdom of Morocco as the General Secretariat and host country of the permanent headquarters, the Court finalized all legal and administrative procedures related to the transfer of the headquarters from the Republic of Cameroon to the Kingdom of Morocco. This process included the formal handover of responsibilities and the mobilization of the necessary human and material resources.
