Organization of a Training Session on Climate Change and Sustainable Development Auditing

In accordance with its 2022–2026 Operational Plan, the AFROSAI General Secretariat is pleased to announce the organization of a training session on Climate Change and Sustainable Development Auditing, to be held in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco.

This initiative, launched in partnership with the Institutional and Technical Capacity Building Commission, aims to strengthen the capacities of African auditors in addressing the growing environmental challenges faced by the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) across the continent. The organization of this training activity falls within the following strategic priority:

• Auditing climate resilience, adaptation, and sustainability programs.

The training will be delivered by highly qualified experts with extensive continental experience in environmental auditing, in accordance with the ISSAI Standards and the frameworks related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The training sessions will provide an important opportunity for participants to exchange knowledge and share expertise, thereby contributing to stronger governance, greater transparency, and enhanced impact for African citizens.
